Charge on diesel vehicles to be introduced in October

Sadiq Khan has urged Londoners to ditch diesel vehicles as he announced a new toxic air charge for the centre of London.

From the 23rd of October vehicles which are more than 10 years old will have to pay an extra 10 pounds when travelling through the congestion charge zone. It is all part of the Mayor's plans to reduce pollution in the capital.
