London Assembly Environment begin investigation into water bottle waste

The London Assembly's Environment committee have begun an investigation into the environmental impact of bottled water in the capital. 

According to the GLA we buy more plastic bottles than anywhere else in England, and Thames 21 has seen a sharp increase in the number cleared from London's rivers.

The charity would like to see a scheme that encourages people to move away from plastic and towards recycled options.
