Anil Kapoor: 'Film is quickest way for people to understand each other'

The government and the Indian High Commission has today announced the start of a year's worth of events celebrating UK-Indian Year of Culture.

A range of events will take place in both countries, including a celebration of film at the BFI.

The launch event at the BFI began with an announcement of events taking place in both countries, including the restoration of Franz Osten’s Shiraz with a newly commissioned score by Anoushka Shankar.
