Mentor Matcher: Women's mentoring scheme celebrates 1st anniversary

Mentor Matcher, a scheme aimed at empowering women by matching them with other female mentors, is celebrating its first birthday.

Mariam Mola, the social enterprise's founder from Hackney, shares her story about her tough life which led her to launch the initiative.

She's a former child refugee who ended up having a baby in jail for a previous crime. It was there that she thought of the idea to launch Mentor Matcher to help other young women like her not make the same mistakes she did.
