Skarstedt Gallery welcomes a new exhibition

Skarstedt has welcomed a new exhibition called "Double Take" to its gallery. The show is exploring how appropriation has played a role in photography since the 1960s and how different generations of artists incorporate appropriation into their work.
The exhibition is the first to show a dialogue between a younger generation of artists and prominent artists from the 'Pictures Generation.'
By highlighting how pictures can shape ideas, gender and race, the exhibition dives into the history of photography and how its influenced our world today.
The exhibition will run until the 22nd of April.
