London's Swimathon celebrates 30 years

London's Swimathon returns for its 30th year next month - the event which was started in 1986 has raised more than 46 million pounds for various charities.

This year it's backing Marie Curie, with events in pools across the UK.

Some of those taking the plunge this year include swimmers who've participated in every single year of the event.

If you are inspired to enter that annual event, and money for Marie Curie, it is on between the 7th and 9th of April - you can get all the details and sign up on the Swimathon website.
