Small businesses call for the Chancellor to re-think rates

London firms have made a final plea to the Chancellor to re-think the new business rates.

The changes, which come into force next month, could see some companies in the capital paying as much as 45 percent more.

There is speculation that Philip Hammond could announce measures to help businesses make the transition to the new payments during tomorrow's budget.
