Child bride turned activist wins True Honour Award

The annual True Honour Awards took place in London last night. The ceremony recognises the bravery of those who stand up to honour based violence.

The event is run by the Iranian and Kurdish Women's Rights Organisation (IKWRO). Diana Nammi is the founder of the charity, and Gabriella Gillespie was named the overall winner at this year's ceremony.
