Horse riders support National Equestrian Safety Day

The Mark Davies Injured Riders Fund is raising awareness of the dangers of jumping on the saddle ahead of National Equestrian Safety Day.

Brixton's Ebony Horse Club is one community riding centre that supports the fund and its efforts to help all leisure and competition riders who have been injured by horses.

Research shows a person is twenty times more likely to be injured on a horse than on a motorbike. And even for top international show-jumper, Trevor Breen, it seems safety must always come first.
