Technology enthusiasts develop new ways to help the elderly

Technology enthusiasts from around the country came together at the weekend to discuss new ways to help the elderly using emerging technology.

It was part of a Hackathon event on the South Bank run by ageing specialists Auriens. 

The winner of the £5,000 prize was a group called 'Chad', which pitched technology to simplify web pages.
