Rare Norman Wisdom film unearthed after 50 years

In 1960 comic legend Sir Norman Wisdom was at the peak of his career, with record-breaking runs in pantomime and a string of films featuring his hapless character in an ill-fitting suit.

It was the year he also made the independent feature 'There Was A Crooked Man'. It's rarely been seen in the years since, but fans are now being given the opportunity as it's being released on DVD.

Richard Dacre is the author of a biography on the star and explained why the movie is so special.
