Bank’s most dangerous junction closed to traffic

From this morning, most traffic has been banned from a stretch of road in the city, considered one of the most dangerous for cyclists in the capital.

The Bank Junction restriction means only buses and those on bikes can use it from 7am to 7pm.  However there are reports its already been breached by van drivers this morning, and there has been strong opposition from Taxi drivers.

The City of London Corporation is behind the scheme.
