How California shaped design

The influence inventions from California have on our daily lives is the focus of the latest exhibition to open at the Design Museum.

From skateboards to the driverless car, Pride flags to search engines, the show brings together more than 50 years of creations from the West Coast American state.

And 'California: Design Freedom' opens today until October 15th, at the Design Museum in Kensington.
