Glenda Jackson highlights the contribution of senior citizens

A new initiative has been launched which aims to challenge the perceptions about our aging population. Flourishing Lives has been launched in the hope of providing better services for the elderly and help the many older people facing loneliness. The scheme is being supported by actress and former Labour MP, Glenda Jackson. The double Oscar winner returned to the stage in 2016 in a production of King Lear and said senior citizens "are source of untapped treasure."
