Remembering Charing Cross Road

A model of the Foyles Bookshop has been created to coincide with the launch of a new online archive of photographs and interviews with staff who worked there.

The Soho landmark will be demolished within months to make way for new complex, despite much opposition.

Sebastian Harding is the artist behind the new model and archive, and Mike Fox is from Save Britain's Heritage - one of the organisations which campaigned to save Foyles.

They spoke to Anthony Baxter.
