Anti bullying campaigner honoured with Queen's award

At 16, Alex Holmes experienced first hand what it felt like to be bullied at school and the long term impacts it can have on children.

Since then, he's turned what was a negative time in his life into something positive, and went on to set up one of the most successful anti-bullying programmes in the UK.

At the end of June, Her Majesty the Queen awarded Alex with the Queen's Young Leader Award for his work in driving change and transforming the lives of young people.
