Thousands take part in the Simplyhealth Great Newham Run at Olympic Park

Thousands of runners took part in the Simplyhealth Great Newham Run on Sunday, July 2, 2017. The route saw them pass through some of the capital's most iconic sporting venues including the Velodrome and Aquatics centre. Runners were awarded with the opporutnity to finish the last 100 meters of the race by running on the London Stadium track. The race was one of a series of races presented as the Simplyhealth Great Run Series, which encourages runners of all experinces to join in and participate in races of multiple distances.
