London athlete takes part in first ever World Para Athletics Junior Championships

A teenager from Neasden in North West London will be the only athlete from the capital to take part in the first ever World Para Athletics Junior Championships, starting in Switzerland later this week.

Amar Aichoun will run in the 100 and 200 metres.

He was diagnosed with mutliple scelrosis at the age of 13 and also suffered a stroke, but says it hasn't deterred him from following his dream of being a track and field star.

Anthony Baxter spoke to him from Switzerland via video link.
