The secrets of London's theatres

With its mix of smash hit west end shows and intimate fringe performances, London is said to be the theatre capital of the world. A new book goes beyond the acting and takes a tour of some of our best loved venues. 'London Theatres' has been put together by drama critic Michael Coveney, photographer Peter Dazeley and includes a foreward by award winning actor Mark Rylance. Covering more than 40 different buildings from The Royal Opera House to Alexandra Palace, it explores the changing architecture and little known stories behind some of the theatre world's treasured spaces.
