Continent-crossing giraffe teaches children about immigration

A new play which encourages primary schoolchildren to think about immigration, identity and cultural heritage opens in the capital this week.

Zeraffa Giraffa is based on the true story of a 19th century giraffe who journeyed from the plains of Ethiopia to a botanical garden in France.

The team behind the production joined London Live News presenter Reya El-Salahi to discuss.

Zeraffa Giraffa runs at the Little Angel Theatre from 21 September – 4 November.
