Harry Potter actress Rakie Ayola supports Jeans for Genes day to help children with genetic disorders.

The actress who plays Hermione in the Harry Potter stage production has spoken out about how her daughter had to undergo more than a dozen brain operations, after being diagnosed with a genetic disorder.

Rakie Ayola says the procedures left her child with temporary memory problems. She's now supporting the Jeans for Genes fundraising event - to help other families affected by similar conditions.
