A new cycle superhighway for the South East

A 55 million pound cycle superhighway, from Tower Bridge to Greenwich has been announced. The plans would see the route follow the A200 through Bermondsey, Surrey Quays and Deptford - which already sees three and a half thousand cycle trips every day. The stretch also has one of the worst safety records.
