Mayor urged to scrap development plans in Wandsworth

The Mayor has been urged to scrap plans to turn a former Homebase site in Wandsworth into new homes. Campaigners argue the Swandon Way high-rise development - for more than 300 new flats, is out of character for the area. Sadiq Khan is expected to consider the proposal tomorrow. It was rejected by the local authority earlier this year.
