The Fairlop Oak

A giant sculpture, which passes through several floors of the Barbican has been unveiled - celebrating one of the capital's best known woodlands. The Fairlop Oak piece uses branches from Epping Forest, and aims to highlight some of the protests and political struggles that have taken place over the years - to try and protect the area from development.
