New play explores the reality of living with learning disabilities

The World Premiere of ‘Joy’, a new play exploring the way society places limitations on people with learning disabilities is taking place in London next week.

‘Joy’ tells the story of a young woman with Down's syndrome and the additional challenges she faces in order to live her own life. 

The play is on at the Theatre Royal Stratford East, from 24th October to 4th November.
