Pussy Riot bring Russian protest art to London

The Saatchi Gallery is marking the 100th anniversary of the Russian Revolution by putting on a new showcase of contemporary art from the country.

Art Riot: Post-Soviet Actionism highlights more recent protests there.

Among those involved in the exhibition, are members of the feminist punk rock group Pussy Riot - who rose to fame in 2012, after they were jailed for performing illegally in a Moscow Cathedral. 

 

Art Riot: Post-Soviet Actionism is on until the 31st December.
