The Darkness Sparks Creativity

After spending seven days living and drawing in complete darkness, the acclaimed illustrator Sam Winston has revealed the work he created during that time.

The new South Bank Centre exhibition also features work by a number of leading poets, who were commissioned to spend time in the dark, and write about the experience.

The centre says now its our turn to investigate the impact that pitch blackness can have on our creativity.
