Women's March organiser "disappointed" Trump's London visit is off

Donald Trump has scrapped his planned visit to London next month over the relocation of the country's embassy. The US President tweeted the new £750 million Nine Elms base - which he was expected to open - was "off location".

The news has been met with mixed reactions. While Mayor Sadiq Khan welcomed the decision as a sign Mr Trump had "got the message" that many Londoners were opposed to his policies, organisers of the mass 2017 Women's March say they're disappointed. The Editor-in-Chief of the Women in Leadership publication Dr Shola Mos-Shogbamimu has been speaking to London Live News presenter Reya El-Salahi.

A London Women’s March will take place in Richmond Terrace on 21 January 2018.
