London's public transport pollution levels lagging behind Europe

Authorities need to improve public transport and make tackling air pollution a priority to stop London lagging behind other European cities.

That's the message in a report by the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, which found levels of harmful nitrogen dioxide here are similar to those found in Shanghai and Beijing.
