Moped gangs say stealing is like taking candy from a baby

The rise in moped related crime in the capital is the focus of a new documentary. It sees three of those using the bikes to snatch phones and raid west end stores explaining how they plan and commit their crimes, with one describing it as like taking candy from a baby.

The journalist Livvy Haydock has made the film for the BBC in which she spent time with the thieves.

Inside Britain's Moped Crime Gangs is available on the BBC iPlayer now.
