Eric Fischl: Presence of An Absence

A series of new works by the American painter Eric Fischl will go on display in the capital later this week. The exhibition, called Presence of An Absence uses domestic settings and often sombre figures to explore stories about what they might be going through - and the disconnect between how we might appear, and what we are really thinking and feeling.

The exhibition runs from Thursday 1st March until the end of May at the Skarstedt Gallery in St James’s.
