Waltham Forest named the first ever London Borough of Culture

Waltham Forest and Brent have been named the first London Boroughs of Culture.

Each area will be given more than £1.3 million to host events during a 12 month stint,  with Waltham Forest going first next year.

The borough's were revealed earlier by the Mayor, and were selected from dozens of entries.
