More than 100 vulnerable squatters may be forced to leave empty building

More than a thousand people have now signed a petition calling on the Mayor to intervene in a court case, which could see around 100 rough sleepers moved out of an empty building in central London.

Sofia House on Great Portland Street was occupied during the cold weather, by Streets Kitchen, a group which works to support the homeless.

The owners of the property will tomorrow take them to court to try and evict them
