Work of performance artist, Joan Jonas unveiled at the Tate Modern

The largest ever exhibition dedicated to the work of the American visual and performance artist Joan Jonas is on display at the Tate Modern.

Her work spans five decades and she is considered a pioneer and major influence to a huge number of younger artists.

Some of the work on display has not been staged for the last 40 years.

The collection is being launched as part of a series of live performances taking place at the gallery over ten days and six nights.

The BMW Live 'Ten days, Six Nights' exhibition begins on March 16th, and Joan Jonas's work is on until August 5th 2018.
