Documentary explores sex allegations against R Kelly

A controversial documentary attempts to lift the lid on the private life of one of the world's most successful R&B stars.

'R Kelly: Sex, Girls and Videotapes' features interviews with former members of the singer's inner circle to try to uncover the truth behind sex abuse allegations that have dogged him throughout his career.

Toby Earle spoke to the man behind it - filmmaker and former fan Ben Zand.

R Kelly was contacted about the issues raised in the programme but his representatives told the BBC he would make no comment.

'R Kelly: Sex, Girls and Videotapes' is available to view on BBC Three iPlayer.
