Urban Synergy awarded for its impact in Lewisham

A mentoring charity which has helped thousands of young people to reach their potential has been honoured for its impact in south east London.

Urban Synergy offers placements and seminars to inspire and prepare teenagers for the future.

It's just won the Lewisham Mayor's Award for Corporate Social Responsibility.

Leila Thomas is the founder of Urban Synergy and spoke to London Live's Alison Earle.
