The building of our homes linked to health crisis

The solution to some of the UK's growing health epidemics - like obesity and heart disease - could be found in house building.

That's the assessment of a new report by the Design Council and the campaign group Social Change UK.

The study says at the moment building healthy places to live and work is considered an added cost rather than an investment.

Sarah Weir is the Design Council's Chief Executive, and Sally Benton their director of policy.
