Children's authors join battle against plastic

It has been announced that fifty of the UK's best known children's authors and illustrators have joined the battle against plastic.

Among those calling on the book industry and young readers to ditch plastic are Sir Michael Morpurgo, Quentin Blake and Dame Jacqueline Wilson.

The campaign is called Authors4Oceans and ‘The Children of Castle Rock’ writer Natasha Farrant is one of those backing it.
