The shortlist for this year's Oscar's Book Prize has been announced, the annual award for the best story for under-fives.

Five books are up for the £5,000 prize, with the winner announced by Princess Beatrice next month.

It was set up by James Ashton, in memory of his son Oscar, who died from a heart condition in 2012.

The winner of Oscar's Book Prize 2018 will be announced at St James's Palace on May 14th.
