Historic England protect ten Post-Modern buildings in the capital

The bright and bold architecture of the so-called post-modern era of the 1970s and 80s has received a boost with new protections from development.

Supporters of the style say that such buildings can be vulnerable to change and loss.

Historic England have announced that it was listing 16 post-modern buildings for protection, 10 of which are in London.

The structures range from housing schemes to civic and education centres.
