The night of the 10,000m

People living in North London may spot several RAF Jets tomorrow night, nothing to do with the Royal wedding, or the FA Cup final - instead the flyby is planned to mark a major athletics meet at Hampstead Heath.

The special 10,000 metre event has been billed as a chance for Londoners to watch an international competition for free, and up close , with fans being allowed to stand on the track.

The night of the 10,000m takes place tomorrow,  first race starts at 1pm, with the championship races from 7pm.
