The Mayor and local councils have been urged to do more to reduce the number of nappies and sanitary products that are flushed down toilets in the capital. Most contain plastic, and contribute to so-called fatbergs in our sewers. Experts gathered at City Hall today to explore why reusable alternatives are being overlooked.
