Royal Academy Summer Exhibition reaches its 250th year

The showcase, co-ordinated by Grayson Perry, is the world's largest open submission art event - with more than 20,000 entries and for the first time will spread out across the West End. Other highlights include new paintings by David Hockney, and a sculpture by Anish Kapoor.
