Peter Stringfellow's publicist on the club owners death

The nightclub owner Peter Stringfellow has died at the age of 77. He had been suffering from cancer. 
For years, the West End clubs that bore his name was a magnet for celebrities and he also ran many venues around the world.
The Beatles, The Kinks and Jimi Hendrix were among the may acts he booked during six decades in the industry. His publicist Matt Glass is here now.
