Dalston's Film festival celebrates independent film makers' achievements

The Thunderdance Film Festival is based in Dalston, but focuses on independent cinema from around the globe.

The bi-annual awards aim to acknowledge and support every facet of independence in the arts from from all areas of the industry.

The winners were announced over the weekend and the winner of the Experimental Category, Emma Scarafiotti, told Katie Pilbeam how it felt to be selected.
