Campaign for arts in schools gets A-List backing

The winner of this year's $1,000,000 Global Teacher Prize, Andria Zafirakou, from North West London has today launched her new initiative to get young people into the arts.

Her ‘Artists in Residence’ campaign aims to bring leading creatives into every school in the capital and has been backed by high profile figures from the arts world.

Among those lending their support range from Lord Melvyn Bragg to Naughty Boy as well as the Turner Prize winning artist, Mark Wallinger.
