Flight numbers may increase at London City Airport

The chief executive of London City airport has said he is considering an application to raise the limits on flights and passenger numbers.

This comes as the airport is undergoing a 480 million pound expansion to maximise the use of the current runway.

Concerns about the potential increase in the number of flights have been raised by a local residents group who say they they will campaign to block the proposal.
