The Athletics World Cup London 2018 comes to the capital

The inaugural 2018 Athletics World Cup is taking place this weekend in London. 

Eight nations will go head to head at the London Stadium over two days of competition. 

Countries participating include USA, Great Britain & Northern Ireland, Poland, China, Germany, France, Jamaica and South Africa.

The world's top athletic nations will be competing for a $2,000,000 prize pot.  

The two day event will feature all eight field events alongside all track events from 100m through to the 1500m, plus 4x100m and 4x400m relays.

There will be an even split of eight field events and nine track events each day, with Saturday and Sunday evening building to finish with relay races.
