Notes from Nelson Mandela

This week will see the centenary of Nelson Mandela's birth - the political leader and activist would have been 100 years old on Wednesday. On the eve of the anniversary, politicians, campaigners, writers and musicians will gather to read from a new book of letters - written by Mandela - during his time in Prison. The night at Union Chapel in Islington tomorrow has been produced by the award-winning actress Josette Bushell-Mingo.

'Celebrating Nelson Mandela' his letters his legacy is on at Union Chapel in Islington on July 17th.
