Sadiq Khan urges young people not to carry weapons

Sadiq Khan is urging young Londoners to stay away from the temptation of carrying a knife this summer, and to get involved in safe and fun activities instead.

It comes as hundreds of school children around the capital go on their annual Summer Holiday.

The Mayor was at Hackney Wick football Club this morning where he met young players whose lives have been turned around by the sport.
